- The application and approval processes of conventional lenders is too slow for them to capitalize on an opportunity.
- They don’t necessarily meet all of traditional lenders requirements at this point and to do so need time to put everything in place.
- The security in its current condition doesn’t meet standard mortgage terms and the borrower can gain uplift in valuation by correcting this before committing to a term finance solution.
- Auditor’s verification of income is not currently available at this point in time.
- They require support not only for the purchase of the property but also refurbishment/development costs.
